For quite some time now, I have been plainly stating that for a variety of reasons -- which I won't get into in a lot of detail in this current article, being as I amply explain it in a number of of my other Bill's Bible Basics articles -- I remain fully and absolutely convinced that US President President Donald J. Trump is NOT the biblical Antichrist. In fact, this is one of the key points which I make in my 2025 article entitled "It is Time to Wake Up!", which you will find listed at the end of this same article. Let me just say that the overall, general reason is that we are NOT living in the biblical and prophetic time frame of the Antichrist. If you desire to understand that point better, then again, please refer to some of my other Bible prophecy related articles.

Yet, sadly, as some of my readers will know, there are some deceived, Futurist-leaning Christians who believe this very thing. In other words, they are absolutely convinced that Mr. Trump IS the nefarious Antichrist. Such deceived people will even go so far as to present their list of what they view in their minds as "evidence" and prophetic "proofs" in order to try to validate their misguided beliefs. And by the way, I placed those two words in quotes simply because in my view, they are NOT real evidence or real proofs whatsoever. They are simply a gross misinterpretation of the Scriptures, which is actually quite common at this current time, sad to say.

However, because I truly care about these rather misguided Christian brethren, on some occasions, I have engaged a few of these people in online conversation, and I have tried my best to set them straight by telling them that Donald Trump is most definitely NOT the AC. In fact, I have even pointed them to the aforementioned article "It is Time to Wake Up!". Yet regardless of what I say to them, it seems that most of these people prefer to remain entrenched in their misguided position. In fact, some of them have mocked me and accused me of being the one who is deceived regarding this issue.

Well, a few days ago, I read an online quote that was said by President Trump, which for me at least, placed the final nail in the coffin regarding this entire Trump controversy. Before sharing the quote with you, at this point, allow me to first share a particular Bible verse with you, my online friends and Christian brethren. That verse is 1 Corinthians 12:3 where the Apostle Paul writes the following:

"Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost."
1 Corinthians 12:3, KJV

My dear friends, please carefully notice what the Apostle Paul says in the second half of the previous verse. Paul very specifically writes that "no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost." My friends, as far as I know, the Spirit of God and the spirit of the Devil, or one of his demons, CANNOT inhabit a human body at the same time. It is simply impossible. Now, if you believe otherwise, I would be very interested in having you share Bible verses with me which prove your point. Anything short of that is just man-made, false doctrine, which I will not accept as proof of what you are saying.

So why is this verse so important, and what am I leading up to? Well, please consider in the paragraphs below what the president actually said in his short speech as he and his wife, Melania, attended the annual National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. While these are just a few key excerpts from his speech, one thing that should become clear to you is that these are NOT the words of an antichrist, or of THE Antichrist. Donald Trump in fact publicly declared the main part of the Gospel message, which is that Salvation is found in Jesus Christ.

President Trump publicly recognized Jesus as the Son of God, and as our Lord and Savior. In fact, the president even went so far as to partially share two Bible verses when he said "Full of grace and truth" -- which is from John 1:14 -- as well as "in him was life and that life was the light of all mankind" -- which is a paraphrase of John 1:4 -- as we see here:

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
John 1:14, KJV

"In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
John 1:4, KJV

My dear friends -- and you naysayers in particular -- let's be honest here. A Jesus-hating antichrist would NOT do that or say that, and CANNOT do or say that, according to what the Apostle Paul wrote. A true antichrist does NOT have the Spirit of the Lord dwelling in them, which according to the Apostle Paul, is what really prompts and motivates a person to say "that Jesus is the Lord." Following then are the verbatim excerpts from President Trump's Christmas speech:

----- Begin Quote -----

"During this holy season, Christians everywhere rejoice at the miracle in Bethlehem, more than 2,000 years ago, when the Son of God, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, came down from Heaven to be with us. 'Full of grace and truth', He brought the gift of God's love into the world, and the promise of salvation for every person and every nation.

Tonight this beautiful evergreen tree glows bright on the dark and cold winter night and reminds us of the words of the Gospel of John, 'In him was life and that life was the light of all mankind.' Beautiful words.

With the birth of Jesus, human history turned from night to day, His word and His example call us to love one another, to serve one another, and to honor the sacred truth that every child is especially made in the image of God.

As we prepare to celebrate the miracle of Christmas, we thank God for His many blessings, and together we rejoice at the true source of greatness, happiness, and strength. The good news is that glorious night 2,000 years ago. Think of it; 2,000 years ago. It was indeed a glorious night."

----- End Quote -----

I must say, my friends, that is a pretty clear and powerful Christian message coming from a man who some misguided folks are convinced is THE Antichrist in the flesh. As I was typing this, I was just reminded of two related Bible verses which I believe add even more power to what I just shared with you. Those two verses are the following:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10:9-10, KJV

Now tell me something, my friends. By way of the previous Christmas speech, did President Donald Trump in fact fulfill one of the main requirements of those two verses -- "confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus" and "with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." -- or did he not? I will leave it up to you to decide for yourself. But consider this too: He did it in front of a televised national audience! He confessed his faith before all! Now, in contrast to what the president said in his speech, let me now share with you what the Bible has to say regarding the REAL Antichrist, and how that evil man would actually blaspheme AGAINST God. In fact, he would magnify himself ABOVE God. This certainly does NOT sound like President Trump:

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
Daniel 7:25, KJV

"And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done."
Daniel 11:36, KJV

"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven."
Revelation 13:5-6, KJV

"And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty . . . And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon."
Revelation 16:13-14, 16, KJV

Folks, let's be honest here. There is simply no comparison between the previous verses, and anything Donald Trump has ever publicly said in any of his speeches. If you, as one of the naysayers, have evidence to prove that Donald Trump has at some time strongly blasphemed against God as those verses describe, then I again challenge you to either present your evidence, or else be silent. Why do I say this? Well, because unless you are in fact of such evidence, what you are doing amounts to bearing false witness, which the Bible obviously condemns, as we see by the following group of Bible verses:

"Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour."
Exodus 20:16, KJV

"Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour."
Deuteronomy 5:29, KJV

"A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow."
Proverbs 25:18, KJV

He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
Matthew 19:18-19, KJV

"Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother."
Mark 10:19, KJV

"Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother."
Luke 18:20, KJV

"Owe no man any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
Romans 13:8-9, KJV

Before concluding this article, I do want to make one final point. While I have come to President Trump's defense in this particular case, please understand that it does NOT by any means negate anything I have said concerning him in other BBB articles. In other words, I still view Trump as being a very worldly man who has been deceived by the snares of worldly power and wealth. While he appears to embrace Christianity, as I point out in articles such as "Beware of Dominionism!", it is a rather worldly, materialistic type of Christianity which does NOT conform to the Scriptures at all, or at least very little.

Furthermore, that is precisely why US President Donald Trump embraces Dominionism, NAR -- New Apostolic Reformation -- and has had the very controversial televangelist Paula White-Cain as his personal spiritual advisor for over twenty years now. In fact, she was just recently appointed by Trump as the head of the newly established White House Faith Office. Also, as an individual, it has already become apparent to many people that Donald Trump is a very proud, vain, egotistical man who is given over to an extreme degree of narcissism. Likewise, we all know that Mr. Trump has a propensity for embellishing and exaggerating facts when it is to his personal political advantage.

In short, similar to the rest of us human beings, Mr. Trump is a very flawed man. There is no doubt about that. However, despite all of that, and as I have discussed before in other articles, nevertheless, for whatever His divine purposes and reasons, and despite all odds, God has raised up the man to serve as the President of the United States on these two occasions. While many people -- including some Christians -- may question this, all we can do is fall back on the truth of the Scriptures, and trust that God knows exactly what He is doing. Consider the following Bible verses:

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake."
Romans 13:1-5, KJV

"Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another."
Psalm 75:5-7, KJV

"By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth."
Proverbs 8:15-16, KJV

"Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:"
Daniel 2:20-21, KJV

"This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men."
Daniel 4:17, KJV

"I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me."
Jeremiah 27:5, KJV

"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."
Proverbs 21:1, KJV

"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel."
1 Samuel 15:23-26, KJV

"And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost."
Acts 12:21-23, KJV
