Synopsis:



Let me begin what will no doubt be a rather controversial article for some of my Christian friends, by saying that I find it very interesting that the five nuclear states which are currently recognized by the NPT -- that is to say, the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons -- just so happen to be the very same nations who serve as the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, or UNSC. These five nations are China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. These five countries are tasked with ensuring international peace and security, recommending the admission of new members to the United Nations General Assembly, and approving any changes to the United Nations Charter. These same five permanent members can also veto any substantive Security Council resolution.

Furthermore, it is important to point out that the UNSC is the only body within the United Nations which has the full authority to issue resolutions which are binding upon all member states. In contrast, while the UN General Assembly can also pass resolutions of their own, nevertheless, such resolutions are NOT binding, which means that they really do not have any teeth, and thus cannot be enforced. Quite often, General Assembly resolutions are usually passed just to make some kind of protest statement, such as to express disapproval of some kind of action which has been taken by a particular member state.

As I've mentioned before, in addition to the five permanent UNSC members, there are likewise ten rotating members on the Security Council who are selected on a regional basis, and who each serve for a period of only two years. In addition, the president of the UN General Assembly rotates amongst its members on a monthly basis. This basically makes them not much more than a figurehead. He does not really possess that much power. Again, the power lies with the permanent members of the UN Security Council. In my view, the rest is more or less just an outward puppet show, which is geared towards public consumption.

Returning to the nuclear states which are recognized by the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, besides the aforementioned five nuclear states, there are likewise a few others which we might label as "rogue" nuclear nations. These include India, Pakistan, Israel, and presumably North Korea. It is at this point in this article where I will now gravitate to our main point of discussion. It may surprise some of my readers to know that not only has the nation of Israel never signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, but to my personal knowledge, in a rather hypocritical fashion, neither has Israel ever publicly acknowledged or declared its actual nuclear status. Some people already know that this is obviously a reality, but they won't say it, and seem to turn a blind eye to it.

Furthermore, equally alarming is the fact that Israel has consistently denied access to its most secret and pivotal nuclear installation -- the Dimona reactor -- by members of the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency, even though Israel is itself a member of the IAEA. In my mind, this begs an important question. Exactly why is the nation of Israel given or allowed to have this privileged status, and given what can only be described as very preferential treatment? Exactly what makes Israel so special that it can break IAEA rules, while all other IAEA members cannot?

Looking collectively at both of these international bodies, personally, I can only arrive at one conclusion; and that is that the fact of the matter is that the five nuclear states, who are the same as the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, are a rather close-knit club, and likewise a "bully club" at that. In other words, my friends, they do NOT want anyone else to have what we might refer to as "nuclear toys", while at the same time, they absolutely refuse to give up their own "toys". That is what irks me the most. In other words, the hypocrisy of it. Once again it is the haves against the have-nots.

Now, please don't misunderstand what I am saying here. Anyone who has known me a long time already understands that as a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian, I am strongly opposed to all manner of violence and war. I've written enough about this subject in previous articles, that this should not even be a point of discussion. I hate what I see going on in the world between different nations as they each war and fight to gain dominance over each other, or to grab more territory, or to acquire certain natural resources. It is both sickening and disgusting. In short, I do not believe that ANY country in the world should possess such terribly destructive weapons.

Returning to the five recognized nuclear states, exactly what is their unspoken policy? Is it to bully, harass, demonize, and even bomb any other nation which makes an effort to join the nuclear club? Now we are getting down to what actually motivated me to write this current article. Sadly, I believe that it should already be rather evident to everyone who is reading this article that we've just been given a very clear answer to my question.

As everyone will already know -- or at least should know -- up until now, the IAEA -- International Atomic Energy Agency -- has clearly stated that there has been no conclusive proof that Iran has a nuclear weapons program. To clarify, while it is true that in the past -- before 2003 -- there is evidence that Iran HAD worked on nuclear weapons-related activities, just as had occurred with the nation of Iraq around the same time, Iran apparently desisted in its activities. In fact, even the U.S. Intelligence Community, in its 2007 National Intelligence Estimate, assessed with high confidence that Iran had in fact halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003. This very same conclusion was confirmed in later reports as well.

But that is not all. In March of 2025, Tulsi Gabbard -- who is currently the U.S. Director of National Intelligence -- testified before Congress that the US Intelligence Community "continues to assess Iran is not building a nuclear weapon, and Supreme Leader Khamenei has not authorized a nuclear weapons program since suspending it in 2003." However, she also stated that Iran's uranium stockpile is "unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons." Then, just this month -- June, 2025 -- she offered a public clarification that is more in alignment with President Trump's view, and said that U.S. Intelligence indicates Iran could assemble a nuclear weapon "within weeks to months" if it chose to do so. She also affirmed "I agree" with Trump on that particular point.

Now why would Tulsi Gabbard seem to backtrack like that? If you have been following President Trump since he first won the presidential election back in 2016, then you probably already know the answer. The fact of the matter is that Mr. Trump is very heavy-handed. It is his way or the highway. Either you agree with him -- particularly in public -- or else you may soon find yourself out of a job. If you doubt that this is so, simply look at his firings track record, and you will become convinced. Not only does Trump fire at his discretion, but he also publicly verbally humiliates anyone who contradicts him in any way. Again, just look at his track record.

To make matters worse, following the March, 2025 assessment, President Trump then publicly rebuked Gabbard, and stated that the March 2025 assessment was wrong. Furthermore, Trump insisted -- and continues to insist up until this very time -- that Iran was not simply close to being able to build a nuclear weapon, but in fact was already actively pursuing it.

So what is really going on here? While some of my readers may not agree with my perspective, I personally see the situation as a clear case of wash, rinse and repeat of what I wrote in my 2008 four-part series entitled "Obama, McCain and the Bush Legacy", and in my 2007 five-part series "Saddam Hussein's Execution and the Euro Dollar War". In other words, back then, just prior to the start of the Iraq War in 2003, US President George W. Bush and his band of warmongers -- including Dick Cheney, Colin Powell, Paul Wolfowitz, et al -- engaged in a major gaslighting campaign to convince the gullible American public that Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, was in possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction -- meaning nuclear, chemical and biological weapons -- and that America would experience nuclear mushroom clouds any day, unless Hussein was stopped, his country invaded, and his alleged WMDs totally destroyed.

To pressure the American public even more into accepting the bald-faced lie they were propagating, Bush and his evil crew even began to claim that any American citizen who refused to support the Iraq War was not a true American patriot. My jaw dropped when I heard that one. As many of you will already know, despite condemnation by much of the rest of the world, nevertheless, the nation of Iraq was in fact illegally and foolishly invaded. As a result, its economy, military and national infrastructure were totally destroyed. Furthermore, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives were lost, or else the people were seriously maimed; the normal Iraqi way of life was wiped out; Saddam Hussein himself was eventually caught and hanged; and absolutely no Weapons of Mass destruction were ever found.

So, it was a war based on pure lies and deception as far as I can tell, in which some four thousand American lives were lost, at least according to public reports. Who knows what the real figure is. To make matters worse, George W. Bush was surrounded not only by his own gang of warmongers, but also by a certain group of Christians -- meaning members of the New Apostolic Reformation and Dominionists -- who had convinced him that he was some kind of a messiah who could totally transform the Middle East through war, and also by so-called "regime change". Well, we all know how that idea turned out. They are all STILL at each other's throats. In other words, Hezbollah, Israelis, Hamas, Iranians, Iraqis, Houthis, Kurds, Syrians, etc. Not much has really changed at all. Fighting and killing is simply in their blood.

And now we come to today. Tragically, President Donald J. Trump has also surrounded himself with the very same kind of individuals, as well as with certain Catholics and Jews. However, sad to say, Trump is even worse than Bush was due to his pride, ego, vanity, egotism and extreme narcissism. As a result, he too thinks that he is some kind of messiah. Add to this the fact that the Jews absolutely love the man. But there is yet more to tell regarding this love affair.

As you may have possibly heard, in 2018, Israel's Mikdash Educational Center minted gold coins called the "Temple Coin" that bear the image of both Donald Trump and Cyrus the Great, who liberated the Jews to return to Jerusalem from Babylon. Likewise, in 2017, a Russian company called "Art-Grani" issued a limited number of large coins, some of which were gold, and others silver and gold, which were inscribed with "In Trump We Trust". These were sold for thousands of dollars. Lastly, in the United States, some groups made novelty gold-plated coins which say "In God We Trust" or else "Trump 2024".

Furthermore, on February 26, 2024, at his Mar-a-Lago villa in Florida, the Israel Heritage Foundation presented Trump with a silver menorah to commemorate the progress he's made in forging normalization agreements between Israel and four Arab nations -- United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan -- under the Abraham Accords. On the plaque that is located at the base of the menorah, part of the inscription says "The Israel Heritage Foundation with profound gratitude presents this Covenant of Peace award to the Prince of Peace, Donald J. Trump." The same plaque also contains the following two Bible verses:

"Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:"


"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."


As many Christians will know, we believe that Isaiah 9:6 is a direct prophetic reference to Jesus Christ. However, the Jews are foolishly applying the verse to Donald Trump, which as we all know, is nothing short of blasphemous. A year earlier, on July 10, 2023, at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, the Israel Heritage Foundation likewise presented Trump with a silver Torah Crown in a glass box, the Crown of Jerusalem, in honor of his recognizing Jerusalem as the real capital of Israel.

Equally eyebrow-raising is the fact that some of the Jews -- some say that it is just the fringe elements who belief this -- even view Mr. Trump as possibly being Mashiach ben Yosef, who is one of two redeemers according to Jewish tradition. This Mashiach ben Yosef will supposedly be a political and military leader who will wage war against the forces of evil which oppose Israel. Furthermore, he will be instrumental in constructing a third Jewish temple in Jerusalem. The other traditional redeemer is Mashiach ben David, who I discuss in my series entitled "Who is Moshiach ben David?". But fringe elements or not, some of those Jews actually believe all of that nonsense regarding Donald Trump. The problem is if he believes it too. Thus far, in observing his latest actions, it looks like perhaps he does.

But the point is this. Ever since Mr. Trump rode down the so-called golden escalator in Trump Tower in 2015 and made history by declaring his bid for the U.S. presidency -- a bid which seemed totally impossible at the time, and which many pundits sarcastically dismissed -- he has repeatedly stated that Iran must not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. Yet at the same time, President Trump has insisted that he is a man of peace, and that he does not want to engage the United States in any more foreign wars. In fact, as many of my readers will know, it is in large part based on that campaign promise, that he was re-elected in 2024.

So what just happened? Well, after subduing Hezbollah in Lebanon, utterly crushing Hamas in the Gaza Strip and very much reducing the Gaza Strip to rubble -- please refer to my articles "Donald Trump, Gaza, and the Tyre Prophecy" and "Gaza Strip Horrors and the Trump Plan" -- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel turned his attention to Iran. Similar to President Trump, he has insisted for a very long time that Israel has clear evidence that Iran was working towards building a nuclear weapon, in order to destroy the state of Israel, which it has vowed to do for a long time.

While President Trump continued to try to make some kind of a deal with Iran with regard to its uranium enrichment and alleged nuclear weapons, the evidence was growing stronger by the week that Israel was out of patience, and would soon strike at Iran, in order to destroy its nuclear facilities. Thus, about two weeks ago, despite the fact that the IAEA and the U.S. Intelligence Community have continued to say that there is no convincing proof that Iran currently has a nuclear weapons program, even though it did have one more than twenty years ago, Israel started its unprovoked war against Iran.

And so, for the past two weeks, Israel has been engaging in sorties and lobbing missiles at Iran, which has obviously resulted in Iran retaliating with its own missiles against Israel. But there was a big problem. Some of Iran's nuclear facilities are located deep underground, particularly the Fordow enrichment plant. Israel did not possess either the planes or the type of bombs which would be needed to reach those facilities so deep in the ground. But, never fear, because the United States of America did, and does possess those kinds of weapons, being the B-2 bomber and the GBU-57 bomb, also known as the Bunker Buster.

With each passing week, the threats and war rhetoric from the Trump administration grew stronger and louder. Donald Trump publicly declared not even seventy-two hours ago as I write this, that he was giving Iran two weeks to reconsider before he said he would make his final decision regarding what to do next. Either Iran surrendered, stopped bombing Israel, and gave up its uranium enrichment entirely, and stopped its pursuit to build a bomb, or else it would have hell to pay for.

Well, so much for that bald-faced lie and deception! As we all know, at the instigation and obvious encouragement of the Israelis, within barely forty-eight hours of issuing his threat, and without even waiting for approval from the US Congress, President Donald J. Trump ordered US military forces to drop bombs on Iran’s three main nuclear sites, those being Natanz, Isfahan and the most difficult of them all, Fordow.

According to news reports, the U.S. military fired thirty submarine-launched missiles at Natanz and Isfahan, as well as collectively dropped more than one dozen "bunker buster" bombs on the Fordow and Natanz nuclear sites. My friends, that is A LOT of fire power. I am no war expert, but it is clear that there is NOTHING left at those sites. They have been completely incapacitated, and Iran's pursuit of nukes has reached its conclusion; probably for quite a few years to come, if not forever. While I do not know if it is true or not, a personal friend of mine informed me that he had heard that the Iranians had managed to move their fissile materials -- meaning those materials which can undergo the fission reaction as in a nuclear reaction -- from their nuclear sites before the United States struck them.

Between the American strikes on Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow, and Israeli bombing over the past two weeks, Iran has been severely weakened in a military sense. In fact, as the war has continued, Iran has launched fewer and fewer missiles at Israel, although it has not stopped entirely. Israelis and Americans now claim dominance over Iranian skies; much of Iran's air force has been decimated; and Iran appears to have fewer defenses left to prevent Israel's bombing raids over Tehran. It has basically become a free-for-all for Israel.

In fact, I am personally convinced that the reason why Mr. Trump chose to drop the bombs so quickly, is because Israel had softened up Iran and intentionally and purposely opened a corridor for the B-2s to enter Iranian airspace. Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump are clearly coordinating with each other, just as I suspect they may have been doing in the Gaza Strip. By the way, isn't it interesting how the news regarding Israel's destruction in Gaza has now been sidelined in the mainstream media?

While Iran has sworn that it will retaliate -- and already has to some degree -- President Trump has warned that if there is any retaliation on the part of Iran, the Iranians need to remember that there are still many targets left to be dealt with, and that such retaliation will be met with force far greater than what they have already witnessed with America's initial bomb strikes. At this point, no one can say exactly what will come next. I imagine that the US and Israel will continue to take out different military sites and assets in Iran, so that they cannot continue to retaliate in that fashion.

But beyond that, what should we now expect, not just from the Iranians themselves, but also from Russia, China, North Korea, the Houthis, and any Muslim or Arab allies which Iran may still have in the Middle East, which I imagine are very few at this point in time? While as of this writing the UN General Assembly has not yet issued any formal resolution strongly condemning Israeli and American hostilities against Iran, it should be noted that the Secretary-General -- who is currently Antonio Guterres -- and member states in both the Security Council and the General Assembly, have been sharply critical of said actions. Guterres referred to it as a "dangerous escalation", and stated that it posed the risk of "igniting a fire that no one can control." Guterres is obviously right. But will the UN do more than just offer verbal condemnation?

Our main concern now is obviously how the big powers such as Russia and China will react. Will they just patiently stand by and see how the situation continues to develop in Iran? One possibility is that they will simply wait to see whether or not Ayatollah Ali Khamenei survives this crisis and stays in power, or is toppled by a civilian uprising. After all, to the major powers, these other national leaders are simply pawns on the chessboard which they manipulate and move about according to their own agendas and needs. Thus far, Russia, China, Pakistan and Oman have characterized the American strikes as illegal.

The irony of this tragic situation is that prior to the 1979 Islamic Revolution when Ruhollah Khomeini rose to power, the nation was ruled by the pro-Western king, Rezah Shah Pahvlavi. Iranian women did not even have to wear burkas back then. But most importantly, Israel and Iran -- formerly known as Persia -- were strong allies. That is because ethnically speaking, they are both outsiders to the Arab world of the Middle East. Israel is obviously Jewish and not Arab. However, what some of you may not know is that the Iranians aren't Arabs either. They are Persians. Prior to Islam dominating Iran during the 7th century, the Iranians -- or Persians -- practiced a faith known as Zoroastrianism. Before that, they practiced a Vedic religion which was an ancient form of Hinduism, as practiced in India. So these once former allies are not at each other's throats and shooting missiles at each other.

Let me leave my readers with one more interesting question to ponder. Considering that there are three other rogue nuclear states besides Israel itself -- meaning, of course, Pakistan, India and North Korea -- why hasn't President Trump shown any interest in bombing them as well in order to bring them into submission to the "Big Five" club? Isn't the answer kind of obvious? Trump is controlled by the Jews, and Israel must not consider those three nations a threat to its existence right now. In particular, does anyone really think that North Korea is any less evil, or poses any less of a threat than Iran? I don't. After all, both China and North Korea currently have our small island in their sights being as we are a strategic U.S. military asset. And so goes the game. Israel calls the shots.

In closing, let me remind my Christian friends that regardless of what happens next, God still remains in control. As such, we should not allow manipulative news reports, or government statements, or online fear-mongering, or any other thing, to rob us of the peace we have in our hearts through our faith in Jesus Christ. Allow me to share a few related Bible verses with you:

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."


"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."


"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."


"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."


"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"


"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."


"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."


"Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them."


"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."


"So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."


"The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them."
