GRACE RACE II
by Bill Kochman
10-21-2017
I once knew a man who ran the race,
But he fell flat right on his face.
In the flesh he had tried so hard,
But he couldn't make the final yard.
With good works he sought 1st place,
But he ran out of steam in disgrace.
For it's only by faith and God's Grace,
That the course we'll be able to ace.
Attempting to win in our own strength,
Only leads to disappointment at length.
So trust in God and His great power,
He'll see you through to the final hour.
