JUST ONE MORE POUND

by Bill Kochman

09-06-2024

I have got a serious question,
Have you ever seen an old bag?
It is something you won't forget,
Man, how those old people sag.

They will just sag in the middle,
And they will just sag at the top,
I fear that just one more pound,
And those ole folks gonna drop.

Oh yeah, eating piles of candy,
'N guzzling down cans of beer,
Tell me is it really any wonder,
Tires drop down to their rear?

To watch them is just amazing,
I swear it's one cold, hard fact,
The way those folks walk about,
Is a very careful balancing act.

Now, I'm not trying to be mean,
You see, I am not exactly trim,
In fact, I'm kinda actually hopin',
My tires gonna help me to swim.
