There's one thing about us humans,
So often we just like to complain,
We always seem to see the negative,
No matter if it is sunshine or rain.

But maybe we all need to be adjusted,
It seems that our attitude is wrong,
Instead of just constantly groaning,
We should be singing a wonderful song.

After all, God has been so amazing,
He takes care of our every basic need,
Terrible things rarely ever befall us,
Like those newspaper stories we read.

So lift up your heart and praise Him,
Giving thanks for blessings each day,
Remember to trust, love and obey Him.
So that no evil ever comes your way.
