Persecution is nothing to be ashamed of,
It is not like you did something wrong,
But Satan has a way of twisting things,
Don't be tricked by his deceptive song.

He'll claim that you missed God's mark,
Now He is aimed to get you really good,
That fiend will try all tricks he knows,
He'd make you believe him if he could.

But don't entertain him for one minute,
Know that when you suffer for His Name,
The Lord is there right by your side,
And it is they who will take the blame.
