Whenever persecution comes along,
Satan sings his condemnation song.
"Oh, you've done something wrong",
And thus he will rant all day long.

"God has really got it out for you,
Now look! You are really in a stew."
It just means you are getting through,
Folks just do not like what is true.

So they persecute & drive you away,
And don't want to hear what you say.
But God keeps a record in His Book,
They will wish the Gospel they took.
