Synopsis:



Continuing our discussion from part two, as we have clearly seen, these subtle attacks abound in so many different forms within our own Christian faith, as well as within all of the non-Christian religions, within the New Age movement, within our governments, within national educational systems, within the publishing industry, within the entertainment industry, and within alien and UFO circles. In short, this spiritual onslaught is being fought everywhere, and at all levels. We are constantly being blasted with, bombarded by, brainwashed with, and indoctrinated with the ungodly lies and delusions of Satan, who, according to the Lord Himself, is the actual father of lies, deception and delusion, as we see by the following Bible verse:

". . . He [Satan] was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."


So the warning is very clear. The influence of these false prophets, seers, channelers, prognosticators, astrologers, etc., can be so strong and so convincing, that unless we are very careful, even God's own people can become deceived by them. It is imperative then that we each know and understand to the best of our ability, the Word of God. Why? Because it is the only thing that can protect us from the deception and delusion of this current dark age, and reveal to us the way forward. We must cast off the works of darkness, and walk in the light of the Lord and in the truth of His Word. Consider the following group of Bible verses:

"The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light."


"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."


"Neither give place to the devil."


"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."


"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."


"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."


"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"


"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light . . . And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."


"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:"


"But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."


"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"


"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"


So what about Sheldon Nidle and other charlatans who have gone around in the past, or who even continue to do so now, and predict mass UFO landings? Quite frankly, as I point out in articles such as "Nature of the Alien: ETs, Demons or a Government Plot?", I suspect that one of these days there may possibly be an "invasion" from Outer Space. However, it is important to consider from exactly where this "invasion" will truly originate, assuming, of course, that it actually does occur. Will it be evil? Will this supposed otherworldly invasion really be from Outer Space? Or is it possible that it will actually originate from Inner Space? That is to say, from the Dark Side of the Spirit Realm? Or might it be of human invention, and merely be presented to the world as a visitation from technologically-advanced beings from Outer Space?

And what about the New Age psychics and channelers who claim to be in communication with wise men, philosophers and other personages from the past? What about the astrologers and the tarot card readers who give you their readings which can fill your heart with worry or perhaps with delight? What about the so-called prophets within our own Christian circles who claim to speak for the Lord and who say "Thus saith the Lord"? What about the Urantia Book believers who foolishly dare to deny the necessity of the Blood Atonement of Jesus Christ? What about the fake healers who in reality heal no one? What about the prosperity preachers who falsely claim that they can make you rich if you just give, give, give? What about the popular preachers who claim to slay people in the spirit? What about the misguided Christians who constantly claim that Jesus is coming at any moment? What about the deceived Christians who say that God took them to Hell and showed them such-and-such? What about the Christians who go to church on Sunday and then live like the children of the world for the rest of the week?

What? Are some of you offended? Am I hitting a nerve with some of my Christian brethren because I dare to expose the lies and deceptions which exist within our own faith as well? Did you really think that Satan is just trying to deceive the rest of the world and not us Christians too? Shame on you if that is what you were thinking. If anything, that foul fiend probably attacks Christians more than any of the others, because they have already swallowed his lies and deceptions. They pose no threat to his plans because they don't even embrace Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It is live Christians such as you and I who are his primary targets. It is us who he wants to try to silence most. If you doubt that this is so, just look at all of the shadow banning that occurs on the social networks.

Let me also remind my readers that the Apostle Peter wrote that judgment begins first at the house of God. We cannot point the finger at and judge the world, when we refuse to look at our own Christian lives first. In fact, the Apostle Paul clearly admonished his readers to examine themselves in order to ensure that they were really walking in the faith. Lastly, the Apostle James writes that we deceive ourselves when we fail to live by what we preach to others. We in fact become hypocrites. As you may know, the Lord stated the very same thing concerning the hypocritical and self-righteous religious leaders of His own day. Consider the following Bible verses as evidence of these powerful truths:

"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?"


"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"


"For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was."


"Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not."


"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"


Having now unloaded those truth bombs on you, and continuing with our main discussion, over the past three decades plus since I first began this online writing ministry, there has been such a dramatic change in societal attitudes. In fact, this change becomes even more apparent when I compare it to what social attitudes were like when I was growing up some sixty years ago as a pre-teen boy. As we have seen, part of this liberal attitude has included replacing the God of the Bible, and the holy truths of His Word with many misguided, man-made doctrines, belief systems and dangerous practices.

This, of course, includes deceptive philosophies such as New Age thought, a variety of oriental religions, UFOlogy, and similar ideologies and theologies. It includes channeling, tarot card reading, seances -- a.k.a. necromancy -- psychic readings, practicing yoga and other foolish things. This is in addition to the questionable things which now sadly occur within our own Christian faith as well, as we discussed in previous paragraphs.

I won't even get into the so-called sexual revolution which many years later has resulted in the ungodly LGBTQ+ agenda being thrown right in our faces at every possible turn. I have already written about that issue in a number of other Bill's Bible Basics articles. Please don't misunderstand me. The devilish spirit of rebellion has been in this world for an extremely long time. Even when I was a young kid, it was present. But the difference is that it was pretty much kept under wraps. The same sins that exist today, also existed back then as well. However, the rebellion against God and His holy Laws and Word was not so blatant, defiant, and out in the open as it is today.

As many of my readers will already know, now the workers of darkness don't even take shame in what they do, and they no longer try to hide their ungodly, wicked deeds. They in fact boast about them and defy God to His very face, which I view as utter madness. So the point is, no matter how you choose to look at it, in a spiritual sense, we Christians today are living in very dark and very rebellious times. Furthermore, I can confidently say that it is the darkest period I have ever witnessed in my seventy plus years of life. Tragically, I do not see it getting any better. If anything, the world will only continue to grow darker with each passing year.

And that, my friends, is where the contradiction occurs. You see, what I just described to you is totally contrary, and a far cry from the delusion which is being promoted by New Age false prophets and others of their ilk. Those deceivers just love to paint this rosy picture of the Earth's people moving into a higher dimension -- the so-called "Ascension" -- or of a miraculous "Photon Belt" originating from the Pleiades star cluster which will in some miraculous way catapult humanity into a higher state of consciousness -- that is to say, the so-called "galactic level" -- as has been proposed by Sheldon Nidle and certain New Age channelers. I am not certain, being as I have not looked into him in quite a while, but UFOlogist Steven Greer may possibly hold to similar views. But please don't quote me on that.

Yet while these New Age false prophets, seers and channelers often talk about a coming time of peace and brotherhood, of spiritual enlightenment and transformation, of human beings acquiring a higher level of consciousness, and all of their other New Age rubbish, as responsible Christians, we need to stop and ask what kind of spiritual enlightenment they are talking about. Exactly what is the source of their so-called "light"? Well, if you have been paying close attention, then you will know that I have already given you the answer. In case you missed it, allow me to share those verses with you again from part one, along with another very relevant verse:

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."


"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"


And there you have it, my friends. In actuality, their light is really darkness which they try to pass off as light. Why do I say this? Quite simply, because many New Age advocates whose websites, work and comments I have read, reveal a very clear inclination to leave God and Jesus out of the picture for the most part. I have also noticed that some of them will even borrow certain ideas from the Bible, but then they will either twist their meaning out of their original context, or else rather than point to Jesus as the one and only solution to our current problems, they will point to the arrival of benevolent aliens from Outer Space, who they love to refer to as their "Space Brothers".

So you see, as far as many of the New Agers and UFO fanatics are concerned, the true author of their "light", and their one and only savior, is NOT Jesus Christ. It is in fact the Space Brothers who they are convinced are coming to save us, and to lift us into a higher dimension. That is the lowdown on much of New Age philosophy. We can't save ourselves from ourselves, so we need some technologically advanced aliens from Outer Space to do it for us. At least so they believe.

As we have already discussed, there exist certain persons -- the channelers -- who claim to be in direct contact -- that is to say, in psychic contact -- with these advanced alien beings. According to their misguided beliefs, these beings will soon visit the Earth via a mass UFO landing, in order to help humanity through our difficult transition period, so that we can attain a higher level of consciousness. Some of these people even claim to be in real physical contact with these beings as well, and supposedly have even boarded their ships and gone places. As we learned earlier, this scenario of a mass UFO landing is exactly what Stanley Fulham was also promoting with his "Transcendors" nonsense. It likewise goes right along with Sheldon Nidle's many misguided predictions regarding mass UFO landings. But as we have also seen, those poor, deceived folks have been promoting their illusions for at least three decades now.

Well, as a serious student of God's Word for many years now, it is obvious to me why these mass UFO landing predictions have all failed so miserably. I can tell you right now with full confidence that there is no mention of any intervention or visitation by aliens from Outer Space in the pages of the Bible. As we have already seen, while Satan may possibly use precisely this kind of deception as a means to deceive the people of the Earth, if visitors do arrive at some point in the near future, I remain convinced that they won't be from Outer Space. Rather, they will originate from Inner Space. In other words, they may be demons who are simply masquerading as alien beings from Outer Space. Let me refer you again to my lengthy series entitled "Nature of the Alien: Demons, ETs or a Government Plot?".

Taking into consideration the previous Scriptural evidence, as well as additional information which I provide in other BBB articles, it should be plain to see that anyone who is really expecting some kind of miraculous transformation of the Earth, and all of its inhabitants, through any kind of mechanism other than the direct, powerful intervention of Jesus Christ, in accordance with His Father's divine will, is obviously living under very strong delusion. Such people have either knowingly -- or in certain cases perhaps even ignorantly -- allowed themselves to be seriously led astray by the subtle deceptions of the New Age movement, or maybe by other similar cultists, self-proclaimed prophets, gurus, psychics, channelers, false religionists, and other ilk who plague our modern age, and who prey upon naive and gullible people.

Furthermore, it is my personal conviction that such people who blindly, naively and perhaps ignorantly accept the false predictions and twisted lies of these so-called modern-day prophets, seers, astrologers, channelers, etc., are bound to face disappointment sooner or later, when said predictions do not come to pass. It is my belief that if a person is truly a Prophet of God, who is really inspired by the Spirit of God, they will be right on the mark concerning their predictions. Why do I say this? Because God's Spirit simply does NOT make mistakes. Something is either yea or nay, and there is simply no in-between. As I also note in the series "The Office of Prophets and Teachers", when a bona fide Prophet of God says something, their words will come to pass. Furthermore, God will do exactly as He says He will do. Consider this group of Bible verses which offer clear evidence of this point:

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"


"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:"


"And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them."


Now, THAT, my friends, is the mark of a true Prophet of God. In stark contrast to the above scriptures, as I mentioned in part one, what we are experiencing today within the New Age Movement, and to our own embarrassment even amongst a number of Christian churches and organizations -- and perhaps to an even greater and more alarming degree on the social networks such as Facebook -- is a lot of hit and miss. Clearly, this is NOT true prophecy, or even God-inspired prophecy. Again, God knows the finest details of the future, and He simply does NOT make mistakes when He bestows the Gift of Prophecy upon a person, and gives them a message to share with the Body of Christ.

Thus, what we can conclude then, is that all of the prophetic misses that we have heard and read over the years, is nothing short of mass deception on a grand scale, by persons who were not truly anointed by the Spirit of God. More than likely due to their own pride, they were speaking from their own minds, and from their own spirits, and NOT truly from the Lord. As I shared with you in part one, Jesus Himself said the following concerning false prophets:

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."


So, as Jesus said, all we have to do is look at the fruit of these modern New Age -- and even Christian -- prophets. That alone will immediately inform us regarding whether or not they are truly sent by God -- and speak by God's will -- or simply come in their own name due to some vain and glorified image they have of themselves.

In my view, there can only be one source for anything which is not really God's truth. That is our own human pride which has been influenced by the master of deception and delusion himself. That is to say, the Devil. When we, out of our own pride and rebellious hearts refuse to submit to God's will and authority in our lives, we leave ourselves wide open to every kind of lie and deception. Not only can we become very deluded and corrupted in our own ways, but we can become the perfect channels and voices for the very enemies of God. We can in fact be transformed into the Devil's very mouthpieces if we are not careful. I believe that this is precisely what we are seeing at this current time, both within the New Age movement, as well as within Christianity itself to a certain degree. Again, I see this happening all the time on Facebook, and it really disturbs me. Everyone wants to be a prophet, it seems.

Truly, we are living in an age of deception, and an age of very strong delusion. As I mentioned earlier, I suspect that this deception will only continue to grow worse as the years move forward, precisely as we saw in part one. Allow me to remind you again of what the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy:

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;"


"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."


Stated in plain and precise terms, personally, I am more than convinced that there will be no utopia or an earthly paradise resulting from our planet passing through an imaginary Photon Belt, or due to the visitation of so-called "Space Brothers" from an alien race. To reiterate my previous point, as far as I know, the Photon Belt is a New Age invention and a fantasy, and the so-called "Space Brothers" may turn out to be demons from hell, if they ever arrive at all. I am not holding my breath.

If, contrary to my personal expectations, a mass UFO landing were to unexpectedly occur tomorrow, or perhaps next week or maybe even next year as Sheldon Nidle, Stanley A. Fulham and other UFO advocates have claimed for so many years, given my current understanding of the Bible, my advice to everyone is that you should really be on your guard. As I mention in the series "Nature of the Alien", such a display could possibly be a rather convincing deception being perpetrated by some government of the world, or perhaps even by a number of the world's governments. Who knows. At this point in time, I do believe that they possess the means to pull off such a huge deception. On the other hand, it could also be the Father of Lies himself -- Satan the deceiver -- who is also known as the Devil, the serpent, the dragon, Lucifer, Beelzebub, and by many other names and faces as well.

As we discussed earlier, the Apostle Paul clearly informs us that the Devil can indeed appear as an angel of light. He can seem to be something which he is not. You need to recognize that just because you see a being dressed in dazzling "space garb" does not necessarily mean that he is who and what he says he is. For all we know, Satan may very well be directly connected to those strange lights that so many people claim to see in the sky. Perhaps he is already preparing people for some future arrival. Again, who knows. Let me remind you one more time of exactly what the Apostle Paul wrote:

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."


Now, while I have emphasized only two options in this series -- that is to say, that aliens and UFOs are either a modern, man-man invention created by some unknown human entity, or an actual demonic manifestation -- to add a degree of balance to my statements, allow me to inform you that there does remain a third possible option which I amply discuss in the "Nature of the Alien" series. Now while some of my Christian brethren may judge me, and perhaps even condemn me for embracing this view, please note that I do NOT discount the possibility that intelligent, technologically-advanced alien races may exist in some other part of our galaxy, or at the very least, in some other region of our great universe.

I do not wish to spend a lot of time discussing this subject in this current series, being as I already explore it quite considerably in the aforementioned series, as well as in my eight-part series entitled "Alien Life, Extrasolar Planets and Universal Atonement". Suffice it to say that I think it would be a tremendous waste of real estate for God to create such a vast universe, and then to only populate one planet out of billions of stars and planets with intelligent life. Perhaps I have given you something to think about. I really don't see how this position is a contradiction of our faith, or that it in any way challenges our faith. Let us never be so arrogant as to think that we are the only ones, and that God stopped with us. After all, He is a creator God, is He not?
